Each year our town has a festival that was intended to break up the winter time blues. They pick a different theme and have events that take place for a week and a half. This years theme was Safari so good!
Snow down is always a blast! The schools get into it, there are events all through out town and it is always a good
time! The Mr. decided to help his dad lead the parade. They were Van Pelt and the Jumanji dude from the 90's movie Jumanji! It was HILARIOUS and they did a great job. Everyone loved it and people have been telling me how awesome it was since the parade.

Here we are! The only issue with Snowdown (other than the fact that the whole town doesn't have the week of to celebrate) is that it always seems to snow or be ridiculously extra cold the night of the parade. No joke it was 5 degrees out during the parade. Hence the giant-puffy 3 layers- of sweaters look that I am sporting.
I can confidently say that a good (but cold!) time was had by all!
