It's almost April..

It is finally spring break!! Glorious glorious spring break! 

Even though I have a week off I still have so much to do! I have my professional exhibition on April 14 and I am not prepared at all! I have a paper to finish and more job applications to turn in. 

I turned in 6 applications to a town an hour away. Now I get to play the waiting game.. Again! 

Updates on a house: still haven't found our "perfect place" to buy. We are leaning towards building on some land. We found the most beautiful plan (2 walk in closets, a pantry, 3 bedrooms-it is seriously our dream home!). Again, we play the waiting game with numbers,figures, plans and timelines. We are going to begin to look for apartments/town homes in the meantime since the house won't be done before June. Just waiting waiting waiting in these parts! 

Other stuff: 

I have to share a bed with this giant thing who sleeps sideways and bites you when you try to move him. Can't wait to see how what it's like to share a bed with him and the Mr! 

We went on a field trip on Tuesday to our children's museum in town. Let me just say that it is EXTREMELY stressful to walk 2 1/2 miles on busy roads with 28 1st graders. If the trip there wasn't stressful enough then the museum gives them dry ice to play with. Let me just say that dry ice, 6 year olds and me do not go together well! 

I had a date with my two favorite girlies. We went to our favorite coffee shop and shared a ginormous cinnamon roll. While they sipped on hot chocolate and I had a half calf Carmel macchiato, we chatted about life, school and their new favorite movie Frozen. 

So that wraps up the recent news! 

Next week the momma and I are headed down to see family and try on my wedding dress!  Throw in some shopping, PF changs, mani-pedis and seeing my bestie! I seriously can't wait!
